My Pregnancy Journey (1st Trimenster )

I did consulted a couple of friends, then we decided to go with my bestie gal friend (Joy) recommendation on Gynae consultation --- Dr Mary Yang from Gleneagles Hospital. We went to our very 1st visit on 1st Apr'10 and Dr Yang gave me a general exam to make sure I am fit and healthy for pregnancy. It was the 1st time that we heard the baby strong heartbeat...pop pop pop... so fast...amazing...we were both touched and I could tell from Jac's expression at that moment that he is a happy 'Daddy-to-be' ..the melodious memory of the sound of our baby heartbeat still makes my heart leap with joy : ) Glad that everything was fine after the screening. Dr Yang estimated the 'due date'..hmm...EDD should be between 15-20 Nov'2010 : )

10 weeks old..baby really grow very fast! It is amazing to think that a single cell created from sperm & ovum can develop so rapidly..

After experiencing myself, I truely think that '1st trimenster' of my pregnancy can be consider an exciting but also the most draining due to morning sickness. OMG, my naesea feeling don't only come during the morning hours. Instead, I have to deal with it all day long..i feel like naesea ..but thank god, I didn't vomit..at least I managed to swallow and absorb the food I took (forcing myself to eat for the seek of the baby). I do crave for certain type of food...fast food, omg..can't control although I know this is not very healthy (macdonald, kfc, mos burger, yoshinoya..etc)..gosh..all sounded so sinful but no choice, Baby wants to eat ...well , as long as the food are not harmful to the baby..i will take in a moderate way definitely ; ) Thank God I didn't not put on much weight for this 1st trimenster, just feel that my waistline is already a little thicker hahaha... : )

Baby, this is the 1st time you celebrated Charles Kor Kor birthday together with Aunty Grace and mummy (you are about 9weeks old then in mummy's tummy..enjoying all the delicious food that we ordered from Tanglin Tree).

THE DO's & DONT's List From Eunice Jie Jie to Uncle Jac

The Do's & Dont's list that our sweet niece - Eunice wrote to Uncle Jac...instruction for him to make sure I don't eat certain category of food and what I type of food that I must eat more often...haha..not forgetting asking Uncle Jac to be the domestic helper for the next 9mths or more.....yiyi love you Eunice lotz : )

I am pregnant!!

5 weeks old in mummy's tummy

First, my period was late, my breasts were swelling, bloated tummy feeling and getting more tire than usual...then suddenly this thought came to my mind - - - (hmmm, am I preg'? hmm..no, will not happen to me..couldn't be...)...then I shared with Grace (my sis) -she insisted and initiated to buy the pregnancy test kit for me...the moment I asked her, what does the '+' sign stands for?..then excitement takes over fully at her place...Grace, Eunice(my niece) & Azel (my nephew)..Kiki (their doggie)..and even her domestic helper (Jane) dropped happy tears for me...I am so touched !!!

Yes, 15th March 2010 was the day both Jac & myself never thought this will ever happen to us. Thank God for this special blessing upon us after 10yrs of our marriage. I can't help but just cry happy tears in my heart when I see that our loved ones were all so excitied and happy for us when they heard the long awaited good news.

By counting the dates backward, hmm...this baby should be 'Made In Japan' ...no wonder when we came back from our Japan trip, I felt that Fitfit (our doggie) behaviour towards me is totally different, even Jac realised the difference but we just couldn't tell why. Like what some friends were telling me that sometimes pets can sense it that there's a little one in us and get jealous in the beginning. We talk to her everyday and assured her of the same amount of TLC and tell her that we will definitely not give her up. And we strongly believe that this little ones in my tummy will really brings its own share of pleasant surprises into our life as well as for FitFit too ^ - ^
