24th Week Checkup / Scanning

Yippee...almost covering 2/3 of the pregnancy journey and both of us are into the exciting bit. There are just a few more weeks to go for the BIG moment. As usual, daddy & mummy were excited & happy to see you again. Today, the moment Dr Yang saw mummy, she said mummy looks good and radiant but mummy face getting rounder & rounder..haha..as of to-date, mummy already put on almost 8-9kg so far..omg..no wonder mummy belly size has increase and getting heavier & heavier each day...a little discomfort sometimes especially the lower back & pressure in the pelvis sometimes BUT nevermind..mummy can take it, as long as you are a growing well, healthy & strong, this is all worthy : )

As mummy tummy increases week by week, your movements increase too. Today, when Dr Yang was going thru the scanning process, you were flipping and swimming inside (so cute). And again, Dr Yang pointed out for the 3rd time that it is confirmed a BOY to Daddy (hahah..) Baby Jaden, you are about 0.67Kg so far, not a big baby at this moment but consider normal, so not too bad...Jia You Jia You Jaden..eat more, drink more..mummy will try my best to feed you healthy food oki & see you again next month : )

AUNTY JEANNE BIG DAY (11Jul2010)

11Jul'2010 was Ivan & Jeanne BIG day

Jeanne meimei hmm..now should be promoted to 'Aunty Jeanne' - she is the youngest in our Jiemei's goup ...yippee..BB Jaden, next year you can start to collect Ang-pow from Aunty Jeanne..phwahahaha....

Like every woman in the world, you always want to look good, that includes when you are pregnant..haha..somemore your mummy is a vain pot...so mummy put on my 4" high heels & attended Uncle Ivan & Aunty Jeanne wedding dinner...happy happy ; )

20 WEEKS DETAILED SCAN

Again, Daddy Mummy were as usual very excited to see you again from the screen. Mummy did the 20th week detailed scan this round to check that every parts of your body is progressing well..Dr Yang pointed out to Daddy Mummy your left & right arm, your heart, your brain, stomach, your legs, your fingers and yr xiao ji-ji to remind us that is a BOY...thank God again that everything went well for you our darling - Jaden : )

While Dr Yang was doing the scan, both of us could see you moving actively inside mummy's tummy. You are really very active, we could see your waving arms and you were stretching your legs as well. So so cute...although is it just a black & white sketetal-like image. You turned a couple of times when Dr Yang trying to capture your image..naughty naughty..that's why mummy don't have a clear picture of your 3D photos...

Overall, I was as usual so amazed to see this life growing inside of me. Jaden seemed contented to be moving around so much and we were glad to hear that everything looked great and smooth : )

My Pregnancy Journey (2nd Trimenster)

Finally, after 3 mths of m'sickness & fatique feeling..I finally have energy and feel like myself again. But one thing for sure, my cravings kick into yet a higher gear. My bump start to be obvious to many. The 2nd trimenster is the best as far as comfort level goes. It's nice not to have any nausea. We were both very happy to see everything progressing nicely.

Jac was so sweet (haha...this pregnancy really inspire him to do great things..), he read alot about pregnancy and advise me on what to expect (I seriously think he really read and research more about pregnancy than me). He suggested me to take up 'Aqua Aerobic' class, so end up I signed a package with KK hospital to try out..not too bad..very relaxing. And to my surprise, he even log on to 'Motherhood' forum for discussion on my behalf. Jac really help me out with most of the housework, he doesn't want me to over-exact myself. Thank you b, LOVE U : )

I also had my triple blood test (Oscar test i think) on my 12th week to test for down syndrome %... everything went well for our baby. I was clustered 'low risk'..phew..thanks God...pray that Baby will be normal, healthy and happy. Overall, I'm feeling great and enjoying this pregnancy so far : )

BB HAS GOT A NAME..YIPPEE!!!

Baby, since we already know your gender...Daddy & Mummy have been thinking very hard for a name with the combination from our names (Jacques & Adeline). After tossing baby names back and forth, finally, your Daddy decided to go for JADEN (J stands for Jacques and ADE is mummy initial). Mummy thought it was quite nice too, easy to remember and spell as well : )

The name JADEN has the following meaning:

- one who is thankful to God; God has heard. Is also a variation/form of Jade, resembling precious gemstone : )

Official Announcment To My JieMei

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mich...love from ALL JieMeisss....

Joy was the 1st among all my JieMeis to know that I'm preg...she was overjoyed and can't wait to share this piece of good news with the rest of the JieMeis. We break the news to them on 12Jun'10 when all the JieMeis went to Galary H otel to celebrate our beloved Michelle birthday. It was then I found out that our dear 'Aunty Ro' is also preg (her baby is 1mth older than ours..due date picked on 10-10-2010...cool man) ...all JieMeis were very happy for both of us. We both will Jia-U together and be a sexy, happy ma ma...

HIS VERY 1st LITTLE WIGGLE

After the fatigue and perhaps some morning sickness, I wonder when I'm going to be rewarded by feeling our little one 1st move. I have heard from many experienced mothers that the feeling your baby move inside of you for the 1st time will be one of the most exciting experiences of the pregnancy. And THIS IS TRUE!!! It was on this week (16th week) that I finally feels some movement in my tummy. It felt like butterflies fluttering their wings..haha...tickling from the inside..seriously amazing feeling. I pause and smile at every movement. Then comes the thought of him doing somersaults inside the womb and will he do the karate kicks in a few more weeks down the road ..hahaha...
