My Bday

This is my very '1st' birthday celebration together with Jaden. Both Jac and Stacey couldn't find a birthday cake bcos my birthday is too near the xmas season. Hence, they bought me a xmas cake instead. Whatever is it, this year celebration is exceptionally meaningful to me bcos I have been officially promoted to 妈 咪。。。check out my cute bday cake 还 有 我 的 两 个 可 爱 的 宝 贝 (" - ")

phew...this is mummy very 1st attempt to cut Lit'Jaden tiny little finger nails...I am quite nervous when I was about to cut it, hoping that he continue to sleep soundly while I'm cutting and he really did..phew..thank god..1st attempt 成 功！！！

Development & Milestones (1st Month)

Baby'J favourite 'pong-pong' time...his 1st shower @ home

The 1st 2weeks we can't interact much with our prince bb'J as he didn't or can't do much except drink, sleep, drink, sleep. When he is awake, he basically just look around quietly most of the time. He seems to be able to focus more on our face when we go very near him each time. Everything went well for bb'J other than his bowel movement which worries me. He constipated for the 1st 5days when he came home..my poor baby, so poor thing. So when he finally poo-ed at home the 1st time, we're so glad and happy (didn't know that when he burp-ed and poo-ed can make us so happy). Although he seems small n fragile, we are glad to see his head n neck movement was quite steady. He can lift his head for afew secs when he is lying on his tummy (could be the amount of milk I took during my pregnancy). By the end of his 1st month, he is able to perform the following:

Welcome to the World our little angel ... big and chubby, weighing 3. 51kg and 51cm long at birth ...I must say Dr Yang was very accurate with her estimation during my routine checkup...

STOKKE BASSINET..

This is the Stokke Bassinet that Daddy ordered from UK. We were wondering whether it will arrive successfully ..after waiting for about less than 2weeks, finally we recvd it via DHL courier just 1 day before Baby Jaden arrival. Your Daddy is soooo happy bcos this is his favourite stroller brand ..let's hope Baby Jaden will love lying inside this bassinet so we can bring him for a stroll together with his FitFit JieJie at East Coast Park every Saturday evening ; )

OH MY!!! HE IS COMING...

Today is my weekly routine check up with Dr Yang...oh my god, I have already dilated 4cm so far. Dr Yang advised not to wait any longer..sigh..looks like we can't wait for 11/11..she asked me to admit to hospital tomorrow morning at 6.30am. Baby Jaden weigh about 3.5kg estimated by Dr Yang..BIG chubby baby boy according to her. I can't believe that his weight has increased so much in just 1week..oh my god...he is really coming tomorrow...excited yet nervous at the same time bcos is our 1st baby mah..looks like I won't be able to sleep tonite liao ..so excited to see our baby..hmm..don't know he will look more like his daddy or mummy...whatever it is, we pray that he is healthy happy baby...hope everything will be smooth, safe and most most important is Baby Jaden must be healthy..very healthy...I will just give my best to PUSHhhh tomorrow bcos I don't want end up C-sect due to my 6cm fibriod...pray for a smooth delivery for me...see you tomorrow Baby Jaden : ))

Pregnancy Bloom Pix Part III

37th Week Scan

Finally reach 37th week (真的是, 好不容易啊) ！！！Last week thought will pop anytime due to the 2cm dilation plus Dr Yang warning...was praying that it wouldn't be so soon bcos he was only 36wk then (we are hoping that the longer he stays inside, the bigger he will be when he really pop out and everything is fully formed well by then).

This round, my weight dropped slightly again by 0.6kg...sigh, hv to be placed on the CTG machine for at least 20mins - twice liao on this machine..sigh.. The process this round was alittle uncomfortable bcos my back was so pain n ached so much due to the pressure of my big tummy (lying flat on my back is no joke..ache like nobody business until I gotta get Daddy Jac to call the nurse in to check if I can stop on this machine). But thank god, everything is ok with Bb Jaden, his heartbeat was strong & loud : ) I think my weight is more or less stagnant liao at 63kg. As of this checkup, Dr Yang confirmed that my dilation was already at 3cm, looks like I should pop anytime next week..hmm...11/11 we are hoping. That's why she ask me to be back on the next checkup in 5 days time instead of a week waiting. Meanwhile, stay tune to http://www.jadensin.blogspot.com/ for further updates (^ o ^)

36th Week Scan

Today is mummy 36week scan cum check up. Other than tons of pressure in my lower abdomen, contractions that do not hurt that much as long as mummy stop moving for that few mins when the feeling comes (usually last about 3-5mins BH contraction) and some sleepless nite (insomnia)due to the aching rib cage, mummy is still coping quite well. Dr Yang actually pity mummy bcos she said mummy is petite but carrying a bigger than usual water bag. This is why mummy is moving & walking in a snail's pace speed nowadays...hahaha..but she did says is a good sign, so Jaden will have more moving space still inside mummy tum tum (^ - ^)

Baby Jaden weigh estimated about 2.5kg today and bcos mummy is already 36week preg, Dr Yang checked on mummy cervix for effacement, dilation & station. Good news is Baby Jaden head has already settled/enaged into my pelvis and mummy cervix has already started to dilate 2cm so far. Dr Yang told mummy to stand by anytime and try not to have too many activities from now onwards..,hahaha..anyway, mummy is really feeling super heavy now, hence can't move that much too and due to the BH contraction that comes as & when, mummy finally decided to listen to Dr Yang advise and stop going to work but stay at home. Although daddy mummy are getting more & more excited for the big moment to come, we both hope & pray that you will stay in mummy tummy for a little longer until at least min 38weeks then you pop out to see this world...So Baby Jaden, be a good boy oki : )

Preparing for Little Jaden arrival...no joke..so many things to get ready..not enough space in our existing wardrobe, end up gotta buy a new cabinet/drawer to keep all Little Jaden stuff..not hugh, but should be enough to accomodate all the things that we bought for him at the moment..from Ikea, quite reasonable price n colour matches yr daddy's wardrobe ; )
